About

Hi! I’m Kaelynn.

Educator and Digital Learning Coach

I love to learn and I am passionate about combining teaching and technology to educate and empower 21st-century learners. This blog houses my research, reflection, and application of learning. For 5 years I taught a split class of 4th and 5th graders. During that time my school was awarded a technology grant and outfitted our entire campus with one-to-one devices, SMART boards, mobile furniture, and LCD screens around the room. I was excited about the endless possibilities technology had to offer and dove right in. Several years later I had the opportunity to transition to a Technology Coach role on campus which allowed me to continue to tinker and explore innovative practices while supporting teachers as they incorporated more instructional technology into their teaching. Soon after becoming a coach, I decided to go back to school. In 2021 I graduated with my Masters in Digital Education Leadership from Seattle Pacific University. Some of my career highlights include being accepted as a presenter at both ISTE 2020 and NCCE 2021. I am excited to discover what is next, but whatever it is I’m confident it will be part teaching, part technology, and a bit of spunk.

When I’m not teaching, I’m chasing around the two kiddos pictured above.
